Chrome Beta for Android

Chrome Beta for Android has been updated to 27.0.1453.90. This release contains a few new fixes including:

• 237253: Changing device orientation when trying to use 'Paste' on phone, makes the page unresponsive
• 237256: Half white background in tab-switcher
• 241237: "Google: <url>" displayed in the omnibox for yellow padlock URLs
• 237115: Dark overlay displayed after switching tabs
• Fix for some top crashes

Dev Channel Update for Chrome OS

The Dev channel has been updated to 28.0.1500.11 (Platform versions: 4100.7.0) for all platforms except Google Chromebook Pixel. This build contains a number of stability improvements.

Release Highlights:

• Fixed several issues where File Manager panes were displayed blank. (239152, 239155)
• Improved trackpad performance on Cr-48 systems (238778)
• Fix to allow formatting a USB drive from the File Manager (239120)
• Fix to allow viewing content of external storage (236743)
• Updated Pepper Flash version to 11.7.700.202-r4

Known Issues:

• With Acer C7 Chromebooks, when the system is connected to an external monitor and used in docked mode, the CPU usage goes to 100%.

Dev Channel Update for Chrome OS

The Dev channel has been updated to 28.0.1500.4 (Platform versions: 4100.1.0 or 4100.2.0 depending on platform) for all Chromebooks. This build contains a number of stability improvements.

Release Highlights:

• Fixed some crashes during playback, replay or seeking of Flash videos (236531)

Known Issues:

• In some situations, interacting with the File Manager (trying to attach files or browsing to other directories) may cause the File Manager panes to be blank. (239152, 239155)
• Sometimes the audio levels do not remain consistent (238391, 239128)
• Some systems are unable to create recovery images using imageburner (239330). Workaround: Create a recovery system using the instructions here from a Windows, Mac or Linux system.
• The option to format a USB drive from the File Manager is not visible (239120)
• Can't view content of external storage (236743): Workaround: Enable File.app's legacy UI in about:flags
